A coat of textured floor paint would look good on the ramps any plans afoot to do that?
 
I plan on doing something Col, but the wood is Tanalised and is still quite damp so going to leave it till the warmer weather till it dries first.

Leave natural wood with assortment of car manufacturers badges then lacquered over

We went to Saxilby to hit the "Hole(s) in the wall" to get some of the cash together after tea. When we got back I showed Shirl a couple of pictures from the seller's brochure.

It comes with a good assortment of lifting pads of different heights as well, only use a low set on my Z's so far.
Deffo need the 30amp feed anything less will trip out, upgraded my consumer unit in my garage to cater for the lift and it has its own 30amp socket with a label on it to plug in.

Thanks mate. This is what Dave is fitting for me, again with it's own socket. The original fuse board has a 30A, 15A and a 5A circuits with actual fuse wire in the fuses!. I bought the garage 2nd hand from an Ex car dealer in Lincoln 33 years ago. I only last year took down the old strip lights which still worked ok (and sold them on). So I think I've had my money's worth out of the fuse board too.

Same with my setup then, mine was old cartridge fuse board with lighting and socket circuits fed from the house consumer unit via armoured cable buried in the ground. Upgraded that with a new board at the garage end with RCD trips lighting, sockets and lift socket. As to lighting still got 3 x 6ft twin tubes I liberated from work about 25 years ago when we had new office lighting installed. Have run out of spare tubes now so might have to look at upgrading them in the future.
 
Now hold on there. We decorated the front room last February, the hallway gone done before Christmas the garden has had a fair bit of TLC, including the never ending shed painting job;) and don't forget those 14 buckets of fence paint lurking in your bedroom mate.=)). AND I was evicted from my own garage for at least a month during the late summer too.

I acquired the armoured cable with the garage when me and my mate took it down and my brother brought it home on his Bedford CF milk float (and it didn't break down once=))). I dug the trench and buried it, connected it up in the garage, wired the socket ring main and the lights then got an Electrician mate to check it all, and connect it into the consumer unit in the house. It's stood the test of time anyway.

One of the first jobs on here will be new front brakes on the Oil burner, they've been juddering a bit for a while and I suspect possibly at least one rear wheel bearing is grumbling, maybe both. Useful that both cars have the same wheel spacing too.;)

Looking forward to getting up there as soon as covid lets us, poor old coupe had to sit outside today as I tried to sort out the rubbish in my garage and sweep 2.5yrs of concrete dust Out. Floor is dustless now and the coupe has a new coat cos I didn’t park it for enough away. All the rubbish collected from the tidy up somehow found its way back in. Oh well at least the car got another wash this week. Ugh.:facepalm:

Benny is absolutely loppy Roy, I will get him a wash this week, after the Oil burner obvs.:p Wood dust is my problem lately, especially using any MDF. It's like Talcum powder it goes everywhere. My shop vacc. does a good job but not perfect.
