#ZedShed Z4 Coupe Journal

Little update,

So after the epic trip over to the main land I had a couple of issues and one casualty.

So all clean just before leaving

First thing that died was my side light bulb, now on the Z4 if a side light bulb fails the corresponding indicator will stay on acting as the side light.
Like so:

This was the offending bulb. Cost £30 from BMW, this is because it's a xenon and sits inside the holder

Then on the last day I had trouble judging the width of the zed on the train and chewed one of my alloys, so today I dropped the said alloy to get fixed :P

I like that orange indicator on instead of the side light, US style.

Ruffian!

Not the best on the wheel Lee but it could have been alot worse .Hope the repair all goes well

Looks like your not the only one Lee, stopped to pick up a mate walking to the town got in everyone's way and clipped front and back on kerb trying to let em all get past. Both going in for repair ASAP. No pics but there not that bad.
Roy.

New toy to get fitted. Does require some welding though. So this evening will be seeing my local welder.

@Lee do you know anyone going to zedfest that can reset my air bag warning light on the Z4 ? I removed the seats without disconnecting the battery :(

Very nice, which brand and supplier is it Lee?

I've been looking at this for ages, found mixed feedback on the various brands so I'd love to know how you get on. One thing that seems common is they need a good clean periodically especially if used in winter.

Are you bypassing just the backbox? Does have it a middle box/resonator?

I'll need to get out the to hear one of these days!

The ones with the electric opening or the manual cable work better than just the bolt on caps. Saves having to lift the car everytime you want to uncork them. I prefer the electric but fairly expensive. Would love to hear it whichever method you choose @Lee!!

These are electric. Just been down to my local exhaust guys and we can't find a suitable place to fit them. So watch this space.
