#ZedShed Z4 Coupe Journal

So, that makes you feel the need to have a tea tray on the back?

Sure does, the back end on my coupe likes to come out. So increasing the aero should stop this a lot. :D

Ummmm @Lee for those of us that have been in a car with you, and I'm one, nothing will stop you getting the rear stepping out other than amputation of your right foot :D:D

Oh good God nooooooo noooooo @Lee! It's mahoosive! :wideyed:

Half a dozen paving slabs in the back will stop the back stepping out and less visible

That piece of tin your going to add to the back of your car @Lee does nothing for the looks in my opinion. Just think, if you add one you will not have the pleasure of sh-----g your pants every time you take a corner to fast. :cool:Besides it spoils the lines of a truly beutiful car.

@Lee if in fact you're going for down force for your two track days I''m all for it but please make it detachable for when you aren't on the asphalt!! Go for it and use whatever legal advantages to succeed you can. You are an Alfa Male and second place is for the loser of the race!! JIM

Lots of things have changed over the last few months, One of the main changes was the change in tyres. I finished the falkens and changed to track tyres, this was for two reasons 1) to see if I can dial out some of the under steer 2) I have some track days coming

Another big changed was my noisy exhaust, I missed the pops and bangs from the TVR. I was told I could achieve this with the coupe if I remove the rear back box so that's what I did :D Literally just cut the back box off and welded in some straight pipe.

I also had a corrosion issue with my fancy wheel nuts. Thankfully motorsport hardware knew of the issue with the early batch they did and sent me out some replacements.

I also recently had a run in with @Philip baxter favourite pot hole in the Cotswolds it actually split open my rear wishbone bush releasing all the oil. Seeing as this is the second set I've had over the last year I thought it was about time to make them stiffer. Removed them and fitted a Powerflex equivalent. It's made the steering a little heavier and very responsive.
