New toy to get fitted. Does require some welding though. So this evening will be seeing my local welder.

Can you guess what its for? there's two of them in total
And here was me thinking it was some form of contraption, the sort James Bond would have to spill oil over the road behind you whilst you were being chased by the Feds :)

I wanted mine further back too but struggled for room and I would have had to cut into my miltech so mines not ideal but easy to put back to standard, are you still fitting yours or doing something different?

Little update with the coupe. She's on her second service and soon to be second rear set of tyres. I bought her with 92K on the clock and she's now 105K and climbing quickly Reliability wise she's been good. I had an intermitted Vanos solenoid fault which was easily changed and faulted up a easy code.

I've made some subtle changes to her appearance first is the black sun strip.

I've also been keeping an eye out for spoilers, first I'm trying a boot lip. This is a universal trim to length type that's been dipped with a nice pattern.

Only another small update,

Went on a weekend away with the guys and girls. We got a cracking deal on a caravan. Mate of mine bought his 1980's mini clubman. I also stuck some 15mm spacers on the rear compliments of @windym

I also had a good dyno run producing 260Bhp at the flywheel, that's only 1hp off the BMW quoted figures and 10 years old with over 100,000 on the clock I cant complain.

A great dyno result shows these cars to be as good as we think they are if they are looked after

That's great news for someone who does so much for others, wish it had come out more. Proves you've chosen your Z wisely Lee.

Not done much to the coupe over the last few months other than enjoy some drives out.

But what I have started looking into is a BGW (Big gay wing) I've always found the coupe lacking something on the rear. I removed the boot lip spoiler I fitted just before Christmas, I just didn't sit right.

Huge wing

Are you taking the pish?
Its a road car, you don't do DTM and IMHO it looks f***ing stupid.....
Road car / track car. I have two track days booked in the coming months. My zed is only a weekend car when I'm not busy.
