Where did you see the adjuster extensions?
 
The top mounts on your front shocks look different to mine.
I don't think mine are camber and caster adjustable.
That may be because yours are M-models and mine are not.

The car is really looking good.
I can only imagine it drives a lot better now too.

I was just reading a thread on that.

I'll have to get full alignment done. I'm also not sure whether I need spacers on the front as there isn't much clearance!
 
Pig nut is off now. I had to call into the local indy to take it off. They had to break out the oxi-aceteline, hammer a square socket and take the windy gun to it. I'd have no chance! New nuts picked up now time to put it all together and adjust the height!
 
Finally (almost) finished. Everything went back together easily enough, although the front was too low and the back too high

Adjusted one front side to level it with the other and dropped the back as far as possible. The back sits OK now the front still needs raising.

I went out for a test drive and my good lord what a difference. The car feels planted, rides bumps so much better and all of those creaks and rattles I had? Gone!!

All I need to do now is raise the front 5-10mm and add some small spacers to the front as I have a little rubbing

Ps the rears can very low with the 6kg spring especially if you take out the adjustment collars and or threaded rod
You can also remove the top spring pads.
That will probably be too low but just mentioning in case you want to go lower.

This is a very nice suspension kit and coming from old suspension it's a revelation, you won't want to stop driving!

Pps once you have the correct camber/caster dialed in it will feel even better.

Thanks Dino, I am considering removing the hard plastic collars, and definitely need to get the alignment done!!
 
Well as your a dab hand at this suspension malarkey you can fit mine next time your down! :D. Oh and all my bushes need replacing and then they'll be the roll hoops to fit and then just a quick detail to finish up with! Know what I mean like lol!!:rolleyes:

More than happy to break out the sockets for any fellow zedder!
 
Looks good, love the front caster on the M's, somehow more noticeable on the Coupes.

Is it rubbing the arch liner on the inside front?
 
It was last night but haven't tried since I've raised the front. Time will tell!!
 
Doing a great job Martin on one of my wish list cars. Couldn't quite justify buying Andy's coupe when it was for sale and agonized over it for over a year. Thanks also for giving @BMBabe a hand with Panther, I appreciate it!! JIM
 
For adjustment of the shocks, am I right that it means unbolting the bottom of the shock.
Or can you screw in-out that part without unbolting it?

Maybe I should read the instructions once...
....but I am a man, i am an IT'er AND a mecanic.....i never ever read instructions.
