For Sale Z3 & Z3M Tank Strap sets

I was sent this photo by someone that had bought a set .....and I thought It really shows how well they fit.
( but you dont actually have to go this far to install them =)) )

Just as an update,
I have had a couple of requests for sets of the Z3M version. So I am in the process of converting another 15 sets.
These should be available in about 3-4 weeks.
 
After seeing the condition of my tank straps whilst I was doing the recent work on my MC I will be needing a set of your Z3M straps. Can you put me down for a set please.
 
Managed to get 5 blocks machined and powder coated quicker than I thought, so a Z3M production line in full swing today in the conservatory.
Two of these are reserved, but 3 will be available. Plus another 10 sets currently being machined/powder coated.

Received a set for the Coupe yesterday and had a look at it today, the quality looks amazing, so well engineered. With Malcolm's excellent fitting guide I'm looking forward to fitting them to replace the rusty tank straps presently in situ. Might be a few weeks before I get round to it as spent a load of time recently on the car doing sills, front and rear wings in time for Silverstone Classic.
 
Just an update on current stock on the 50 off from second batch.

Z3 version. I sold my last one yesterday, but there are 4 sets still available but currently residing with Lee at Zedshed HQ……unless he has sold them and not told me=))
With the current petrol problem I can’t get up to Basingstoke to pick any up…. But could probably sort something out should someone need a set…. And thinking about it, I do have a set put aside in the garage for my project car which I will sell……Just in case some needed a set urgently

I will get another batch of 50 done should there be further demand.

I can confirm I have 4 normal Z3 tank traps sets with me. Happy to post or collection.

Thanks @Mazza , do you have these available regular or in batches? as have new roof in Dec so need to think budget. my birthday present has gone, on exhaust bracket, xmas is roof..so new year new tank straps :)
 
Stock update.....

Collected the 4 sets today from Lee , of which 3 are already sold, ( subject to receiving payments) and the last set has been reserved.

So no more Z3 sets left now......but , after talking to Lee and Gaz this morning I will be manufacturing another batch of 50 sets.

I do have 10 sets of the Z3M version still available.

However, I do have a set fitted on my 2.8 project car ( which wont be going anywhere for a while yet :whistle:) so if anyone needs a set urgently, then I am happy to remove them as I can replace them with a set from the next batch.
 
Since Saturday, all 4 sets have now been sold and despatched. My project set has also been sold.

So Z3 sets currently out of stock, however, as a result of some overruns on the last production run, 6 sets from the next batch of 50, will be available in about a week or so, just need powder coating , and the balance of 44 sets will be about 4-5 weeks. These will probably be the last ones I have made.

Price will be the same as the last batch. £70.00 plus £7.00 carriage.
 
Powder Coaters really did me a favour and did them today while they had other things to do in the same finish. Collected late this afternoon ( still warm !!!) and one set already assembled and being shipped tomorrow.
I will get the other 5 sets assembled and packed and these should be available from Friday.
 
So, there I was cutting out a unicorn in my yard when a parcel arrived containing some bent bits of metal. These posties are getting almost too quick;). I suppose all I have to do now is wait for @Mazza to turn up and fit them for me. Or is that not included? Bu**er.

But seriously now folks, the brackets look a fair bit stronger than what's under there at the moment, a spider would possibly be stronger than what's under there. Damn these twenty year old cars. Thank you Mr Malcolm, a fine job, will get them on as soon as I can, and just sweep up the remains of the originals.
