I used to think that till I read that they can help the emergency services if there’s a crash. Babies and their seats may not be easy for them to spot if there’s a lot of damage.
That's what they were meant for, but in the event of a vehicle fire, people could be badly burnt, searching in vain for a non existent child if the sign is left on the vehicle all the time.

Remainders that cannot accept the leave vote. Especially the ones who think that us oldsters should not be allowed to vote and the ones who tell me that I did not know what I was voting for.

@ Redline, starting sentences with 'so'. Couldn't agree more, it drives me mad. Fine if they are responding to a 'situation' or 'circumstance' which then requires an explanation or course of action etc, but starting every sentence with 'So, ..' is just bo....cks ! The other week some ric ed spokesman came on BBC News and when introduced he said, " So,good morning."

Ergo . . . . . a Politician

Tony.
In their Job Description isn't it?

Never ever, under any possible circumstances, answer either directly or indirectly, any question you are asked.
To do so indicates that you might have some vague understanding of the question or issues asked about in the question. Faithfully and directly answering any question or part of any question is a sign of weakness.
Always only answer any question with a response to the question you believe should have been asked.

My new pet hate is when I hear people order something in a pub, restaurant or shop, starting off with "can I get".

Was in a hotel in Chorley a couple of years ago, the waiter said 'good morning Andrew, what would you like for breakfast'?
