@ Redline, starting sentences with 'so'. Couldn't agree more, it drives me mad. Fine if they are responding to a 'situation' or 'circumstance' which then requires an explanation or course of action etc, but starting every sentence with 'So, ..' is just bo....cks ! The other week some ric ed spokesman came on BBC News and when introduced he said, " So,good morning."
