What is Llandudno?

It's a toss up really if you live in Blackpool! " Blackpool or Llandudno? There's only one way to find out ....." says Harry Hill.

Went to Wales once, couldn't understand a word, then left. Mind you, I have the same problem in all countries out side of England.:(

In Wales they say ‘When you can see the hills, it’s going to rain; when you can’t see the hills, it is raining!’ So says the Ordinance Survey!
Got to be true

Haha see I've been out practising this morning for wherever it is I'm going this weekend? By the way that's the Nextbase 412GW at 1080p 60ftps as opposed to the 1440p the last clip was taken in.

Been out the country today ---went up Ribbleshead Viaduct to see the "Scots Guardsman" pass over under steam, typical of Yorkshire it rained after the train.

For an enjoyable run from Llandudno have a look at the following as a starter.

Out of Llandudno take the A470 towards Bettys Y Coed

At Tee just before Bettys Y Coed turn Left on to A5

Carry on along A5 until Cerrigydrudion take Left B4501 towards Brenig Reservoir[section of the Evo]
Brenig was constructed due to the high rainfall in the area, some great forest tracks in Cloganiog used on many a RAC/Welsh rally.
Not suitable for the Z3

When you come to a Tee junction turn Left to Pentrefoelas [section of Evo] past Sportsmans Arms

At Pentrefoelas you are back on A5 turn Right,

After about 1 mile turn Left onto the B4407

You will encounter a few bikes --The Motorbikes won't trouble you ----- all but the Cyclists can be a pain.

Carry on until the Tee at Pont y Afon turn Right on the B4391 towards Ffesiniog

At Ffesiniog turn Left down A470 to Tee turn Right towards Porthmadoc.

At Penryhyndeudraeth take the A4085 on Right to Beddgelert.

At Beddgelert take the A498 then at Pen-y-Gwryd turn Left on A4086

Warning Do not park out of official areas on road up pass [Council making a fortune known to ticket 200 a day]and then the Car Park on your left on top of pass on A4086 very expensive -----

After Llanberis turn Right on the A4244 turn Right at Roundabout and continue on to the A5

Left then Right to join A55

Continue on A55 until you pass Penmaenmawr next Roundabout turn Right then left at Tee then follow signs for Sychnant Pass , go over pas down into Conwy

Then over bridge left at Roundabout in Llandudno.

While working Libya I dealt with an engineer who spoke good English but in funny manner.
He explained he learnt English in school, then did his degree in Canada, and had no trouble with his English
He latter came to England to take his PhD but he could not understand the people and they could not understand him.
I always wonder who sent him to Newcastle-on Tyne?

@abh29, I was oil & gas out in the desert, head office is/was in Tripoli.
Flew into Benghazi once on our way back to Tripoli to re-fuel.

Benghazi , Sirte, Maserati , mainly Sewerage Treatment Works and Sewers. ,back in early 80's
The Libyan engineer was running the Eternit pipe works in Maserati.

We get more rain in Wales.

Personally I think the Maserati is an overrated car. But that's only my opinion .

Did you ever use the "Stopper" the 747 that ran between Ben and Trip,it just dropped down on the coast road where it had been widened out.
We had a few flats at Beniena very near to Benghazi Airport.
Afraid I go back flying to days of B Caledonian, good airline.

No, I worked for Wintershall, German company, and they had their own planes.
I was based down in Jakira in the desert where they also had their own airstrip.

You need to either remove the audio or dub something royalty free over the top...

Llandudno does have a very fine BMW dealer. Shame I get all my spare bits from Sopers. And there's a lovely triangle route around Snowdon, best done when the tourists have bu55ered off home. Beware the suicide sheep:baa.

You can also get good deals from Ed down at Cotswold via BMWLander.
I just don't see why they can not be more competitive at the Junction.

I'm confused (very easily) ,but why was @TaffZee ,in Wales, explaining some aspects of Derbyshire dialect in connection with comments from @Ianmc who is apparently from the New Forest? What's the Derbyshire connection?
