What is Llandudno?

The Welsh likely think the New Forest is in Derbyshire not Hampshire. To be fair, it is easy to get your Shires mixed up!:)

OK OK, I misread the post and thought it was from Z Victor 1, me bad....But you are right Wales is a very strange place and I like it that way, but living in Blackpool Kettle Black!!

I will go as far as to admit that I once used to be stationed at RAF St Athens but I draw the line at having to go out and buy a black kettle! The one I have is a kind of see through plastic colour with a blue light that comes on when it's boiling water and I kinda like it see? Black......... I ask you whatever next?

By the way could you lot kindly make up your mind which part of the UK Wales is in please as it's Friday tomorrow and I need at least a day to get my head round the sat nav in my Z4. Thank you.

Small world indeed, I have worked for both Anadrill and Dowell Schlumberger and was also offered a job with Flopetrol.

Very hard taskmasters but second to none for looking after their key staff. Seven countries in five days and a total of 120hrs worked. They then shipped the wife and I to Bahrain for 10 days completely free? Left after 4yrs completely knackered and having turned into the gibbering idiot you know me as now. I now just sit in my Z4 with my brandy, dribbling down my chin and making broom broom noises.

I was out on the rigs with Anadrill mud logging and had an office job with Dowell.
Then went to Sperry Sun.
Out in the desert for 1 year with Wintershall.
Worked 3 years in 5 countries including China for HSC (high sealed and coupled)
5 years with Liberty Drilling.
I was a pirate, worked for the highest bidder.

Longest I have ever worked for one company was 11 years with Hunting Oil Field Services.

In total, 33 years in the Oil & Gas biz.

Now that explains a lot, I wondered what you had been sniffing:whistle:

I once made the mistake of telling @milller1098 how glad I was to be in England while we were driving through Wales.

I should have worked with you then eh?

If you like working in this kind of environment, hell yeah....
