I bought some leather - some wood and made an armrest - with the leftover leather I then made a pair of seatbelt pads and embossed them with the word ‘roadster’. They look fine.:)

I also bought a boot lid liner from BMW for a Z3M and fitted it to my 2000 facelift 2.8 - and it works!

That’s me for a while!

Big day today:

1. Just had a new roof fitted by Jack Smith Trimmers in Swansea (just around the corner really).

2. Received a 2002 BMW Z3 original brochure that I bought online

3. INPA cable - Free from Malc @Mazza (thank you- maybe I will be able to return the favour in future)

A couple of weeks off coming up, so ordered a few bits.
Front discs, calliper seal kit, hoses and calliper spray paint. Also ordered the 3M headlight refurb kit.
should keep me busy for a couple of hours 👍

I bought a Meguiars kit a few years ago, great kit, just remember to use plenty of liquid, soapy water or detailing fluid, either works well.

do you need buffer/orbital sander?
My kit came with a drill attachment, but keep the speed down or you can “burn” the plastic ( and spray the polish for far enough;)).

Tony.

ps. You can buy replacement sanding discs from eBay so dont be shy of using them.

Already fitted a twin USB socket in place of the fag lighter (that should worry our American chums) a few years ago, but now you can have them with pretty lights on. Ooooh nice. So I got one.

BMW Floating Alloy Wheel Centre Cap Set. Christmas present from Mrs. Penny, @Mark Parrish gets the blame for these as he put the idea in her head

Not all for the car, at least not right now. Some stuff for the Shed too.
