Looking at the profile of the side of yours it looks like it's sitting inside the wheel arch, mine were pushed further out. Not sure of the offset but i will have a check.

then you just need thinner spacers
Probably a smaller offset than mine or wider tyres or both

Had a good drive in it today. Last minute decision to go for breakfast and ended up doing 150 miles through Worcestershire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and crossed the border into Gods country for a while and only 5 miles on a dual carriageway . Went like a dream the only problem being a speed hump in Ludlow now has some of my undercarriage on it . I'll have to find a way to drive over them or I'll be losing bits of car each time .

Autumn colours run done, winter's here and the hardtop has gone on for the first time. It's Topaz on Estoril and I think it looks pretty good.

It went on without much trouble but I haven't been out in it and it hasn't rained yet . If the weather is good I can take it off in 10 mins.

Stone guards aren't bad either just take them off when it's not in use

I do the same, most have had no issues but I think 2 people have had reactions with the paint under the magnet. I think it's only if the car has been resprayed. So they only fit them for driving.

Then stick them in the bin and buy some rigid mud flaps. Take them off now and then to clean behind and the jobs a good 'un. No point b******** the paint job up when you are trying to save it.

Finally got around to changing the springs today with a visit down to @Nodzed.

Only changed the rears for now but what a difference. The car was bottoming out with Apex springs on but changed for Eibach and it's much firmer. It amazing how much difference 10mm can make as I caught two of the speed humps on the way in and none on the way out.

Also put the 20mm spacers back on so the wheels are more flush with the body

Thanks Tony. It makes it look much better. I'm not changing the front springs as the car looks level with just the rears done

It was a productive day, plenty of nattering and coffee drinking but all the jobs got done. Davids Zed is a cracker, well sorted and looks great now not its not slammed on the rear, not a look I favour TBH.

It seemed warmer when I was stopped and cooled down when moving even on hot. It wasn't as warm as when we had it running.

It was and it wasn't a pleasant drive. It's off up to Stockport tomorrow for a new roof and a trip across country next weekend so we'll soon find out if it's sorted.
