I would love to have a space like that to work on our ZedSpent the day with @mid life crisis and @Nodzed today fitting pads and discs all round. I have to admit they did all the work and I just kept them plied with coffee and bacon sandwiches. Thanks both.

If you can't be sure as to how far it has been lowered the only thing to do is fit some springs that you know the "drop" on. Then re fit the spacers and see what happens.Well, it's all change. I only ended up keeping the new car for a couple months before an opportunity came up on here to buy an estoril blue with refurb'd 17" ACS TYPE 3's wheels from Edinburgh. There were a couple of things to get sorted and an MOT to get it road legal before I could get it here. The suspension has been lowered with Apex springs with Bilstein shocks, and 20mm spacers on the rear. Spent a little while swapping bits and bobs over when the car first arrived, Stormwerks bits, Royal steering wheel etc.

Generally happy with the car but it hadn't been driven since the work had been completed and when I took for a drive for the first time a couple of issues came up. There was a knock in the rear that turned out to be the subframe which has been sorted. However, the other problem was the wheels rubbing the arches. For now I've removed the spacers but this has left me with a dilemma. Do I raise the suspension and put the spacers back on to fill the arches or leave it as is. Don't really want to roll the arches.

I'm also not sure how much it's been lowered as it was advertised at 40mm but the Apex springs are 35mm, so if I change them to 30mm H&Rs will it raise it enough to put the spacers back on?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't run the car super low though, can go much lower but have speed humps to traverse at home and office...

Looking at the profile of the side of yours it looks like it's sitting inside the wheel arch, mine were pushed further out. Not sure of the offset but i will have a check.Here's mine on 17" ac schnitzers running 20 spacers at back, AP coilers lowered at least 30mm. No rubbing
Also the more you lower the more the wheel goes in at the top
What offsets are yours?
I'll have to look at the offset Niall as I think 15mm may still be too much. The more I think about it the best option may be to raise it a little.David you could always try 15mm spacer on the rear? Thats what I went for on the M looks cool I think and no rubbing cheaper fix than changing springs.
