@t-tony thanks for another well run meet up and cruise, really enjoyed it despite the weather. Hope Shirl starts to feel better soon.
Great company, not bad food (we've been spoiled by eating at the swan) and a good route.

@Wilko58 really sorry to read of your misfortune today, hopefully you'll recover quick from any knocks and bruises.

Steve.

Another tops day out Zedding with nice like minded peeps. Thanks @t-tony for organising, a job well done and nice to see you and all who braved It, again.

The much maligned Bomber Command took an unbearably high toll, Fighter Command, with their 'Few' bravely maintained air superiority to thwart a NAZI invasion and Bomber Command with their 'Many', 125000, took the fight to the Axis of Evil losing a staggering near 58000 brave young men on the way! Thanks lads :(

At the going down of the sun ......... :(

On the flip side, 2 school boy errors today;

1. @t-tony took us all into the ice-cream parlour the wrong way and stated 'the last time I was here, this wasn't here' :D

2. Me :D I locked @Jjim out of his Zed With the keys in the ignition and engine running :D Much poking of sticks through the gap at the top of the window to activate the window switch was carried out :D:D

A good spread of nice Zeds today.

There was a moment of dread but a good old oak tree lent a hand, and a pokey stick later all was resolved

@Wilko58 so sorry to see your nice Zed in that state but at least it protected you and I’m glad you suffered no serious injuries to yourself.

If your Zed can be straitened out I have a spare bonnet which is still on my car which will need a little filler for some very small micro dents or a wizard dent guy and spraying to your colour but you can have it for free but would need picking up from Banbury area.

My thanks also to Tony for organising today. Shame about the weather not playing ball but never mind didn't dampen our spirits. Good to see old friends again and meet some new ones.
Really sorry to see your Zed Tracey, but the main thing is you're OK.

Sad to hear of @Wilko58 misshap and relieved so far that he's basicly out of danger, fingers crossed that he's on the mend sooner rather than later. Hope that lovely Z can be put right, would be an awfull shame if it can't.

Sorry you didn't get the weather today lads but looks like you all enjoyed it anyway. I had no points left in the pot so was unable to attend.:sour: Next time.?

At least it wasn’t a wash out. Got locked out of my car (again), had a laugh and got the top down on the way home

Sat in ambulance going to Doncaster A&E. Nothing broken, nothing bleeding just chest pains. Lost back end coming off a roundabout hit central reservation spun across the road flew over a ditch hit a tree. Walked out of it so idn't need to take hard top off!
Really sorry to hear about this Tracey, good to know you are not too badly hurt. It says a lot for the strength of the Z.

An update and thank you.

Almost home.

Got away with a badly bruised chest, small cut to my eat from where a twig came through the side window and a graze in my left hand from something (?).

Thanks for all the good wishes and support.

Torn between another Zed, a VW T4/5 Campervan or emigrate somewhere warm

Really sorry to hear about your mishap. Walking away virtually un-injured is a blessing. Just got to be careful in the wet.

Not to make light of your predicament, but, maybe one of these for such wet conditions is best.
