Mike says he is going to bring the scissors and a comb!!!! if you want a blow dry, you'll have to drive topless!!!!

Only a couple of weeks away now, hope everyone is still ok to attend?

Liam is liaising with some hotels for the meet before the cruise, will post more info when we have it :)

We're got rain here at the moment ( not that the rain here tonight has anything to do with the Rutland cruise)
but hopefully the sun will shine for us , will be lovely to have the top down ;)

We're still up for it. In fact we're booked into a local hotel for the night before so please don't cancel it.:(

God no we wouldn't dream of cancelling!! Just checking the numbers before we organise as it was a couple of months ago that we started the thread. :)
 
yes count me in - my brother in law has just bought a zed so he will be coming too!

Will be in the UK then and would like to go on the Rutland cruise. Is it possible. Also, only will have a rental car as the Z is back in New Jersey. Frankie
 
Great idea, Frankie, the more the merrier! You will enjoy the experience, Rutland Water is beautiful and amazing cruising country!!!

Frankie Rutland is the smallest County in England and Rutland Water is the largest reservoir in England
 
We aim to please on here. Rutland 18 miles N to S 17 miles E to W , so should be difficult to get lost, and Rutland Water is 25 miles round and a long way on a bike when you haven't ridden one for a long time. It was a pleasure to stand up!!.

UPDATE!!!

Right we have a new meeting point!

So on 8th June can you all set your satnavs to LE15 8BL.
This is a large car park area next to the water sports and cycle centre near Whitwell.

With such a good turn out Normanton park hotel, our usual stop wouldn't be able to accommodate us.

I'm unsure if there's a cafe, there probably is.. So can I ask people to bring a flask or possible Mike n Sandy to bring old whilstler :D

We aim to be there for 10am

We will meet there and have an hour or so to catch up etc. its quite a nice spot for some photos next too Rutland water.

Please bring lunch with you ie picnic etc. and don't forget you fold up chairs!!
