Shhhhhhhhh…..
Does Jill see what you say on here![]()

If I reached under our bed chances are I'd have to chase an intruder down the stairs with a rampant rabbit, and no guessing where I'd shove it if I caught them.

Jill used to be an Ann Summers rep and she's got a toy box that would make Rambo wince …….. and I work away a lot![]()

As an aside to my previous post, when Jill was working for AS she used to sell a dozen or so RR every week and I used to get the batteries for her. I used to buy 100 Duracell at a time from Cornwall Battery Services. A lady used to serve me and one day she asked me where all these batteries were going. After I told her she turned bright red and left the shop. She refused to serve me again due to her being embarrassed. When I told Jill she said the lady had been to one of Jill's "demo's"![]()

all this gung-ho attitude is great, but remember why the police advise this:

I am sure all they had the same thoughts, and now their wives and children only have memories of their dead heroes.
Be careful. Defend your families and yourself, but are insured possessions worth a life?
These scumbags go out tooled up and prepared for more than just pinching the laptop.
Get in the house and the first thing they do is boil the kettle and look thought the kitchen cupboards, anyone coming downstairs can't use their baseball bat to stop a face full of boiling water or bleach.
So, their intent is GBH.![]()
Reminds me of when we lived in the far east in the early 60s ( dad in the army) we had a dog who's previous owner was in the military police and he would let anybody into the house and just lie on the floor UNTIL they tried to leave then it was pin whoever up against the wall until he was told stop and he was alsation sizeI understand that if you catch someone entering your home you're entitled to persuade them not to, but, if they're leaving you have to let them leave? That is, you can't shoot them in the back with a 12 bore ............................. much as they deserve it
Tony.
It's great to hear everyone's views.
I also spent some time giving out advice to people, crime prevention, what to do if something's going on etc etc...
Did I heed my own advice?
No, when I saw some scumbag in MY car I was out there without thinking.
Looking back at it now, I should have waited inside for the Police to turn up, then go out and assist them, maybe even just let them deal as they have the equipment to defend them selves.
Just waiting for a call from them now, we have the mobile phone, so just time before they pick him up.
I'm expecting him to make a complaint of assault against me, so I guess I'll end up in the custody block I used to work in.
Nice to know there’s still people out there willing to take them on.
After dealing with these low life’s for 20yrs I’ve decided long ago that the BBBat under the bed is worth what ever the judge decides
......We would then take it from there.![]()
