Thought it was time i did a Progress Thread

Got the first seat completed today. Not 100% but it is giving me confidence for the next one and a little later on i can redo them and make them better, the Only trouble is its a pig to do in situ in the car and even when you cover up completely you still get over spray. So had to spend the afternoon re washing and polishing the Zed to get all the over spray off. It did not help with it being fairly windy.
Reminder to self Do on a nice calm day

Looks great in the pictures, I have the same kit for mine and the same colour seats so some good tips thanks. I plan to tackle the seats early July after holiday. I will find a sheltered corner...!

Look great lots of masking required. The bits of mine i sprayed went everywhere and i did it in the garage removed, so hats off to you getting it done in the car!
I gave up spraying on the seats as they where two tone and far too difficult to mask and do but the door cards sprayed nicely as only one colour added.
Refreshing the interior against the new flawless paint must look brilliant in the flesh look forward to seeing it on saturday

What was the dislike for @Redline ? Finger slip ??
Which post - I can't find it!

Updated - Got it. Mobile digital dyslexia....
I do need some of that stuff myself though.

Great job mate, oh, you could eat your dinner off your engine bay, it's an absolute peach! Nice one
Thank you Andy. To be honest it does not take a lot to keep clean once it is at a certain level. Just a bit of AG Vinyl care and a microfibre cloth spray on wipe off

Si if you are doing them in situ then get a wide roll of masking tape, i used old quilt covers and sheets and spray mist still got through. Next time i am going to use brown paper on the areas closest and dust sheet the engine, boot and doors. I even had the passenger door open and covered and it still got over spray on the outside of it, that should give you an indication of how much masking and covering you need to do

TT we are putting things on hold regarding getting a newer one till next year. I would like a 35is but at the moment they are too expensive so we should be able to get one next year with the right mileage, age and year

Called Eisenmann UK up today and got a price of £680 for the Back Box with 76mm Tail Pipes. If i order it tomorrow i may be able to get it before i go on our Euro Trip in 2 weeks time
