Paint job looks good Andy i'd be the same re cant wait to get it back, but it will be worth the wait i'm sure :). Do you mind me asking who's done the paint for you ?
A chap called Richard Davies, lives just outside Barrow, Cumbria. One of my Fire Safety team at work. He's an ex contract sprayer for Aston Martin and continues to do this and other mechanical and welding work to keep his hand in. Did another one of the teams 23 year old S2 944, Pukka job.

Well Bella has returned post spray job. Am I a happy chap? Yep, and then some. £870 all in including two spots back to bare metal, a dent in the bonnet and a spot of welding. Is it to a main dealer standards (£3500 ish for the work done), to be hyper critical, no. However, I'm as happy as a happy thing on a happy day at that price.:drinks:

Update: front left caliper, discs and pads done both side. £200 all in! £140 for parts and £60 to fit! My local garage, one man band and a top guy. I purchased the parts (recon caliper and new discs & pads) and he's fitted. Drives like a dream again. A tad cheaper than either a main BMW Dealer or Kwik Fit, £260 just for the caliper less fitting! Your having a giraffe

Good to see you've got it sorted Andy
You got a very good deal there mate
Mine had to be replaced same side as yours i think the new caliper alone was £80 plus fitting.

Online automotive Steve. Parts seem to be good quality and a great price to boot.

@Andy McDonnell Looks a good job. I am hoping to get another year out of the soft top and then a visit to a company in Wales to get the complete hood replaced. The list of other jobs though keeps coming up first. Sills need some TLC before they get really infested with that rust bug.. She is a credit to your hard work. Looks good for a good few years to come I hope too.

Thanks. Sticking my Zed on axle stands over Christmas is hopefully on the list to get a good look around and see what's what :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

I took mind to a local garage to get it on the ramps and in the air. Once there i was able to video the underneath of my Z3 to me to view anytime.

Update: Whilst a tad slower than quickfit me and my lad finally managed to fit new rear discs, pads and handbrake shoes. Just a bit of fettling with the handbrake to ensure all is in order.

Tool of the day was this "thingy" for putting springs on trampolines! Used it for the bottom spring that is a t**t!
