Joan's the one that worries about the future whereas I take the risky lane. Sometimes good sometimes bad. She sees no value on my junk in the back field and would haul it all away for scrap. I buy them as an investment and most are worth way more than I paid for them if I decided to sell with a few pretty rare pieces hiding out amongst them. So even with the banker's offer to look after the place if we bought in Holland she thought there was too much risk involved. Also could have bought my Aunt and Uncle's house in Missouri for $60K but again, no go. JIM

I left my parents when I was 17 Tony, well, it was that or join the Marines, so I b******* off with a knapsack on my back and have had a great life, seen the world and worked all over the place, as I bumped into the oil & gas boys, basically, from day one and they look after each other when you become good mates. Would not trade it for the world.
Still have not read that book Tony, but could probably write my own.

You're an exception to the norm HT, I understand Tony's point and have always told my boys to follow their hearts. Voila, number one son in Chile and number two three drives down the road. I wish my parents had the same attitude but by the time I was ready to just up and leave my Gramps discovered he had lung cancer and he was very close to me so I stuck around till he passed on. By then I was content to stick around Winnipeg, got married in 72 and other than vacation travels am still here but not in Wpg. JIM

Its just the way things go Jim. Some of the stuff I have done, I should have been dead a while back now....haha.
Still have great contact with my family and they have always said, if we don't hear anything from him, then all is OK.
Google this, great Dutch saying......."onkruid vergaat niet"

Well it won't Jim, as 'sayings' are difficult to translate, as you will only get a literal meaning.
My old Yank work colleagues always say when we meet, "sh***, no one shot you yet?"
