4 times Jim, 3 girls 1 lad, there's another game just started featuring some of your ex girlfriends ;)
I can't wait to see what this one will be! Especially featuring ex girlfriends of mine. Hopefully this will be spread over enough time so those of us hours behind or a day ahead can play along. JIM

And that is not a Tuna sandwich @oldcarman that is raw steak.........
I know, don't you recall I spent quite a bit of time in Europe in the eighties and especially in Holland where I never had a meal I didn't enjoy, in particular the steak sandwich. I still enjoy them the odd time I get to the German Club in Winnipeg where they sell like hotcakes! JIM

I knew that Jim, that's why I posted it.........:beer
Just teasing the crap out of me cuz you know how much I love Holland? And want to live there for a longer period if I live so long. That was our retirement dream until it became obvious that we had to get legal guardianship of our granddaughter to avoid her being taken out of province or used as a means to get welfare so her mother could party. Small sacrifice to make but the yearning doesn't go away! JIM

Bring the kid with you.......
I'll ask her she wants an Uncle HardTop and see what she says. We had a Dutch and a French exchange students in 89 through my Lion's Club. The Dutch girls Dad was high up in the banking world and offered to find and finance a house for us at cost so by the time we retired the rental fees would have paid it off and we could live debt free there while renting out our home to cover expenses here. My wife got cold feet so that didn't happen. Trinity is very quick to pick up languages so learning Dutch would be easy for her, considering at 10 she speaks adult level English and French already. We'll have to look at that option sometime. Well I think we're well off topic by now but don't tell Gaz!!

Our club folded a few years ago but during my tenure I was the Youth Exchange Student chairman and shocked many a Lion's members including Governors when they met me to congratulate me on bringing the highest numbers of students to Canada. The first year we hosted a guy from Finland, the year after 4 Japanese, the next year was 8 from different areas of the world and a high of 18 from everywhere. It went down after I had my massive ulcer bleed and couldn't devote as much time as before. We also had two Peruvians come in winter which shocked the begeezes out of them both but they got to experience all kinds of new things they'd never get in Peru. Nice part is Damon in Chile has been reacquainted with them both and their families and remain like brothers today. Oh and the French girl lived in an old 35 rm mansion just outside Paris that we are welcome to visit any time. Her Dad also owns a car rental co and will provide us with free transport for as long as we need. So any wonder we love Europe and Holland in particular? JIM

And your good lady got cold feet Jim? You have obviously done a whole lot with your life up to now mate. Having had a good chat with Frankie, albeit last year, I think he has too. We try to encourage our kids to take any opportunity which comes their way regardless of thinking about leaving parents behind which was a failing of a lot of our age group I think.

Tony.
