With the Friday option would that mean traveling an hour or so after the Swiss passes on Thursday as a start to the return journey?

Thinking Friday will be the way to go on the return crossing. Late afternoon maybe ? Will look at the tour in more detail later this evening.

It's taking shape and it's a good one too . Thank you for all your input. Makes this place what it is. Great fun.

Slenaken is all booked up
Seriously thinking of comming so where are peopke staying in slenaken please
M
Slenaken is all booked up has been since it was arranged i think the Dutch crew booked earlier this year

Actually Mozz looks like a few Hotels have had cancellations as a few are now on Booking.com

So are you going and meeting me and Brian over their :whistle:

the Dutch booked also in the villages around Slenaken.
It is a very touristic area, enough hotels and B&Bs

Having stayed in the area and surrounding areas you will find suitable accommodations that will suit your individual needs easily as @ DutchScorpion has said. I am so insanely jealous!! JIM

Any thoughts where to stop on Thursday night? @miller1098
I think i would prefer to stay at the Hotel Astoria for 2 nights saves moving and then stay somewhere in striking distance of the tunnel to return on the Saturday morning. We wouldn't go for an afternoon crossing on Friday because we would still have a 4hour journey home.
I know it's a long way if you have got to get back Friday so I suspect we'll all probably end up doing our own thing after the final passes on Thursday.
But by then we will all have had a fantastic time :)

That sounds like our favoured option as we have a 5 and a half drive in the uk

OK You scruffy bunch.... Just about had it dealing with the German Track... Long story... we are not going to visit them on a chance of getting on the track...

So I bring in my reserve list...

We are doing SPA on the MONDAY.... yes.. SPA.... again... calm down @Nodzed

So Looking at the following..
Saturday travelling over to Sleneken.
With the Dutch group on the Sunday
Monday.. we go to SPA for a lovely tour and on track 12.15 after another group. I need numbers as I will be booking this asap. AT present we have 15 spaces on track
We can then travel towards the Swiss Alps.

Tuesday / Wednesday we can have fun in Switzerland
Thursday we can have a drive part way back towards Calais.
Friday we return to the Tunnel and home to the UK.

Are we happy ??? If not.... I am resigning... =))=))

Tunnel booking..

Are we ok with this...
Saturday 10.20 ? or just after outwards..
Friday Say mid afternoon ?

I can honestly say.. dealing with people who are not being totally open about things is a bloody pain..... At least SPA is a friendly track too.
