If you want that, get over to the Swan.

How did I miss this yesterday???????
Well you said it won’t be long but I didn’t think it would be yet so Bl...y well done you. You get busy in retirement but the big plus is you no longer have to beg for time off, no one to answer to but Shirl and yourself, that’ll be the most freedom you’ve felt since your school days six weeks hols, remember the first day of your six weeks hols? It was such a long hol you just couldn’t believe it, out with the boys all day and getting the belt off yer dad for coming home late evening. Sent to bed with your tummy telling you what a plonker for missing food all day. Yeh!!!! but now you’ll be able to do the same but pop in the pub for your grub. Your gonna love it, just ask me. Lol
Roy.

Four weeks when you’ve worked for over 40 yrs is a drop in the ocean Tony..

Glad you've decided to do it and I hope it works out well for you.

Think about it carefully Tony - 4 weeks working and then 8 weeks on the sick with PTSD from having to do a further 8 weeks. One of the blokes from further up the food chain told me a week last Friday that because I had been there for 16 years they could ask me to give 12 weeks notice, I said " Good luck with that Mick!"
Tony.

So it's not all bad then...this would be the 2nd least likely I would return to...
