Good man. It's been a while in the making but you've got there. Congratulations mate.

Oh well Tony, you can get that sign up above your garage door at home now ....
Congratulations bud![]()
Its great when you can be in a position to hand your notice when you want to on your own terms. I was able to do that back 2013 when after I'd come home from Nigeria on emergency leave because of two family bereavements in one week, I decided that I'd hand my notice in when I got back to work. Thankfully my boss said he'd honour the remainder of my contract (11 months), only stipulation was I had to find my replacement, which I did and he's still working there now.
Hope your boss goes along with your request OK which I'm sure he will and it all goes well for you in your retirement. Only thing I found is I'm busier now than before I packed in work. Also as I've said before the pays c**p!!
Congrats Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing more of you in Florida????????????...................FrankieCheers for that Pete, echoing what Roy told me. I have a couple of irons in the fire which will come into play if I get tired of being "idle" which is a fair possibility. But I intend having a few months before I decide on anything and doing the last few bits on my car and then all bets are off.
Tony.
Well done. Great choice. Like it’s been said, you will be busier than ever, but, there’s no longer any alarm clock. Result!
Take the few months to do sweet fa.
No workin!
No commutin!
Congratulations Tony. You won't regret it, although it does feel strange when you turn your badge in after 40-odd years at work doesn't it?
Good luck in your retirement @t-tony. I am sure you will have lots to keep you busy
I love Steve Wright. So one thing to say - Serious Enjoyin![]()
