hi m&s the coach and horses in on main street lubenham le16 9tf
on the a4304 small car park behind the pub just right for zed parking:)
 
Mick, I see they do a group booking for the castle and event,

Do we get discount as a group?

Hi Mike & Sandy.
Our Satnav is ready programmed! Happy if you, and other EAC members coming across this way, would like to rendezvous here at our place first. The Coach & Horses should be just over an hour from here, so if you reach ours at 9am, you might catch the old kettle on for a cuppa before we head off!

just spoken to rockingham again.
they dont do group bookings on event days:(.
but they are going to see if they can save us some space in car park to all park together.
hope to find out later if they can
 
Good stuff mick, I hope they do, I like to park with plenty of room!

Ps the event starts at 12 and were having lunch then.

Would be good to look around the castle though!
 
pub for lunch is just around the corner 2 mins max so should be there to see plenty.

have spoken to the landlord and he is offering us a two course lunch.£11.95 p/person
soup/main
main/sweet
on sundays he offers 3 roast selections.
topside of roast beef +veg
loin of pork roast +veg
half roast chicken+veg
soup and sweet can be selected on the day :)
as a bonus on the day the pub is holding a real ale festival ;)
after lunch a short cruise up to rockingham castle.
hope we can park in good place to get some nice pics done.
then walk the castle and gardens.
we found out today that on the day we plan to visit they have a jousting event on :-bd

hope to speak to them tomorrow to sort out the finer points.
afternoon tea is available for those who would like it can be arranged either & rockingham or sondes arms have to speak to rockingham about it but the sondes arms are happy to do it for £4.95 for cream tea or £7.95 tea sandwich/scone but hope to get a deal on this ;) but just have to see how many interested.
 
Hi K&S, Camp Coffee? For Breakfast? How about PG Tips, will bring our own as we still have a few boxes left from Silverstone last year. See you at 9am.

Good news have just spoken to rockingham and they are reserving an area
in the main car park for 10 cars so we can park in a group
