Still all good for the day here and hopefully my mate in his Z4 Alpina will be along as well.

Also Badman needs to prepare himself and bring the M police around for me

hi folks.
we have had a bit of a set back with the rockingham castle visit.
i have spoken to them today to see if we can visit on the 9th i was told as there is a major event on as in the jousting we would not be able to take the cars into the grounds :( .
we have had a bit of a think about our options and wanted to see how you feel about it.
option 1 stay as we are keep our cars in the sondes arms car park and walk around to the castle (about 0.4 of a mile )

option 2 go on the 2nd of june 1 week earlier which is the steam transport show and we would be able to take our cars into the castle grounds

Can make both at the moment but will go with the majority.

bit of another update spoke to rockingham today.managed to chat to someone more helpfull.
they said as it is a main event day we would not be able to park our cars in the castle grounds. (they have an area called the sloping lawn which they use for car clubs to park and take some nice pics in front of the castle ) which would have been nice.
but we can take cars up to the castle car park and park there no probs :) if thats ok with everyone so go with the 9th june

just booked the church farm hotel in kettering for the sat 8th so that we dont have to get up too early on the sunday to make the meet:D

yes same here :) have spoken to both pub for morning meet and pub for lunch today just to confirm all is ok.
hope sunday is good for top down as well:coolsteer):cool:.
will post any updates though the week
