Rear diff refurb/fix, where to these days?

I realise I'm late to the party with my day-old z3, but where does one get the rear diff reinforcement done these days, as near as berkshire as possible? Cursory inspection of boot seems to show some popped spot welds, and I also have an occasional 'clonk' when releasing the power quickly...

I half assumed this would have to be done to any 'original' 2.8's so it's not real big deal, as long as I find a place to do it!

Is the man for this, busy doing a Z3 2.8 right now I believe. This man knows BMWs and that's always a bonus as to do the repair the subframe comes out and you can get a lot of essential stuff done whilst that is out.

You could try Gary Feakins Racing in Aldermaston, he race preps Z3's for the Z Cars racing series.
