Solving this mystery at this late stage may prove impossible but I'm watching eBay UK daily and will be searching for anything that happens to show up. If it was at Santa Pod drag racers and their fans usually respect other peoples property and theft by them doesn't happen often. I'd be surprised if it was a dedicated racer that stole it! JIM

I still can't believe that some people are so low, I hate to say 'in hindsight'... is it worth people sourcing a form of locking wheel nut style bolt if this kind of theft is taking place

A good idea Ash, and very easy to make. Does anyone know what thread these nuts are?

Sorry to read of this misfortune mate, that was always something I worried about when attending last meets such as Gaydon and the likes.

Again, in relation to the prevention methods, a healthy dab of locktight requiring a bit of heat to release it again might not be a bad idea.

I had my van broken into, and my neighbour said he had some tools for sale off the back of a lorry
He's lucky for him he still has his front teeth

Bloody hell Wayne, I can't believe that somebody would or could do that, they could have left bolts undone, that's frightening :-(
I'm stunned

Mine car rarely goes out of my sight, but I would never think of looking underneath the car to check, having the full body brace as well might put them off,
Did everybody know on here you had a butt strut ? Did you thread it on here, I know we've spoke about it, having one myself
