really good blokes at Hack Engineering tooGot it up on my screen as we speak.
Thanks.
Noticeable difference thenAll I had to do was get a throttle body adaptor (readily available for about £30) and a manifold (about £60 I paid) then change them over. Its fiddly but I did not need to change anything else, though I did grind off some of the throttle body fixing post for clearance.
On the downside, I do have to pay more in toothpaste keeping my newly visible grin clean
It's just that thing about knowing it's there if you want it mate. I do like the occasional blast off the lights. Doesn't mean you have to travel everywhere at warp factor 10.I would be very interested in seeing the difference between a standard 2.8 and a modified one before I went that route. Get that place contacted Dave and encourage Roy to bring his car and compare with Reggie. That said, you said you wouldn't want to put Reggie through a dyno test so why would you bother looking for more power?
I wonder if there's a difference in manifolds between the Z4 3.0 SE and Si models? A similar difference in HP there too.
Tony.
Oh yes it does. It's just that thing about knowing it's there if you want it mate. I do like the occasional blast off the lights. Doesn't mean you have to travel everywhere at warp factor 10.
Back to no points again now Tony, since Nov, will try harder this time to go a lot longer, (maybe paint the car, take spoiler off, grow a beard, wear my aviators to fool the local plodgetting the last lot of points off seemed to take for ever. The boss and me ("my husband and I" as she would say) have still got our paper licences and now's a good time to maybe change em.Tear arse !!
Tony.
You still have a paper bit to go with your plastic bit. If I recall, it's a legal requirement to carry both. Any points would still be on the paper bit. Didn't realise you were required to carry both parts Andy? Is that in UK and/or mainland Europe?
Edit. Just read Alan's post!
