Other hobbies/Pastimes/collections

My passions are cycling - Solihull Cycling Club - one of the biggest and best clubs in the country.
Wine collecting and tasting - and ok drinking as well.
Gardening - have a big garden and spend loads of time there.
Bird watching.
 
Hi, my main hobby were horses, in a big way. We lived on a farm, Dad had heavy horses and i Had a few of my own, ponies for teaching on, jumpers and show horses for myself, Then worked with them in racing yards and show hunter stables, travelled the country on the county/agricultural circuits and eventually qualifying two really nice horses for myself, to go to wembly with a small show hunter and a show cob.

The photo of Sam, was taken at the great yorkshire show where we qualified for wembly then we were lucky and good enough to qualify again, winning cheshire county show under the judge, (and author) Dick Francis. We had a great day, even beating the big boys :D

Then after the horses and after i met my hubby, he introduced me to photography, sea kayaking, sort of windsurfing, kiting and buggying on our local beach, and a few more but i dont want to bore you all ;)

He ran off with me whilst the judge was watching at kendal show, but we sure rectified his behaviour before the next show, put some damn good brakes on him X(
