I think you are right! :-\

The film reference is easy enough to pick up, but how were you involved?

You've started it now, you'll have to spill the beans, I'm sure you won't be accused of selling state secrets! :-bd

I've been busy over the weekend in my Mum's loft. Unfortunately, she can't get up the ladder to admire my efforts (shame).

My hobby is not trainsets, my hobby is finding solutions to engineering problems - and the bridge was a problem, as was the "how do I stop the trains hitting each other". Now I have to solve the "how do I stop the train falling in the gap when the bridge is raised".

OK, ''The Railway Children'' film was filmed partly on our farm in Haworth, in West Yorkshre. My sister and I were in the film and had endless weeks of fun watchng it being made. I had a week off school to take part, my ponies were also in it. We loved the film as kids. We supplied the whole set with eggs and milk daily, and had parties every week down by the river. It was great fun ;)

Reading between the lines, Gill (or should I say tracks) The Railway Children comes to mind!!! Am I warm :D or am I barking totally up the wrong tree!! (Perhaps someone has cottoned on while I am writing this thread) :-bd

A bit late with this post, would delete, but no button. :ymblushing:

Love the new Jenny Agutter Series "Call the Midwife" especially the upper crust character "Chummy".

I have recently started collecting vintage watches, some I keep, some I clean up and sell on.

In the past couple of years I’ve started sailing. I've sailed around the Solent a few times, made a trip across the Channel to the Channel Islands last year and just got back from 2 weeks of sailing a 67 footer around the Caribbean (trip of a life time).

I love food and wine, cooking is one of my passions (especially fish).

Oh how I used to love down hill mountain biking but my knees have had one too many knocks to carry it on. Many years a go, a group of us had our own little team going called "team Kebab" (this name was born of alcohol believe it or not). We had a gigantic knackered old VW box van with the team logo down the side of it. We went all over the place with it, even managed to limp it down to the Andalucian mountains in South Spain. I have a hard tail now and try to get up Cannock Chase as much as I can.

Haircuts and hobbies have been and gone but these are my main interests now. There are a few others but I've bored you all enough! i-)

I used to play football until I was 40 but when the youngsters kept running past me I decided to retire.
I now play golf whenever I can usually off 20 but its probably going to be a bit higher as I haven't played for about 2 months. A group of us have weekends away about 4 times a year and have played at some lovely courses.

Apart from that its keeping the Zed in good condition and looking after the chickens.

I read in an earlier post that Gill had starred in TV made near Howarth. Gill were you Compo off Last of the Summer Wine?
