I was interested as to whether members have
other hobbies apart from their treasured Z

I participate in green bowls, i often get a bit of stick 'an old mans game'
I play competitively, i started about twelve ago, and was told then
I was told old to get chosen for the big time, most top bowlers are
youngsters 18 upwards
This game takes up a lot of my time in the summer, sometimes 7 days a week,
which doesn't go down well at home
My other passion is fishing, i was into match fishing big time several years back,
I do all types of fishing, fly, carp/course and a bit of sea, i have just recently sold my boat
that I had moored on the thames, I never got the time to use it
Although I still get the chance to go fishing inbetween bowls and the cars
You can never have enough hobbies, even if they are waiting in the wings
So many people retire and then try to take up a hobby

Waterskiing (or more specifically kneeboarding).

Used to compete in the UK and USA back in the day but now it's get out on the water as and when I can.

This is me, probably about 10 years ago now!

Other than that, photography are the main things for me

I dont have many hobbies of late. I used to build and fly model planes which was great fun up until a series of crashes and lack of funds to replace them, I also used to fish very often but similar story. Local clubs kept pushing up prices and i had less and less disposable income so that stopped a few years ago. These days im obesessed by the paint on the zed and driving it at angles i probobly shouldnt.

no Gill im a field walker...i dont follow hunts or ride...mainly clear pests for farmers..i have good friends that do follow the hounds but its not for me...i like to be in contact with the earth when i hunt...for me its a very natural process.
i cant remember when i started but its for as long as i remember and TBH it has put food on the table through some very hard time and when the time comes to put the boots away i'll know iv contributed to the long tradition of working dogs and hopefully my kids will pic up where i took off...its been an amazing journey working side by side with my dogs over the years and wouldn't have missed it for world ;)

I used to be in snooker big time when I was a kid (as in full time for 3 great years) and was sponsored. My dad was a very well known amateur player but in the days when there were only about 8 pros. He was Higgins practice partner when he won his first world championship. I remember as a kid Higgins, spencer and Virgo being regulars at our house. Great memories. My highlight was playing jimmy white in an exhibition at pontins after I won the merseyside junior championship back in the day. I retired at 19 lol too many better players about. Not touched a cue for 25 years.

My hobbies are obviously cars but as many holidays as I can get. I love travelling and have 5 booked so far this year.

Oh I also collect stamps since I was 12 but more as an investment. I have every British stamp issued since 1965.

I've been coaching boxing for 25 years and left my club just a few weeks ago to concentrate on my business.

Boxed for 13 years as an amateur.

Southern England Rubber Ring Champion 4 years running from 1978-1982 and runner up in the World Pat a Cake Championships in 2005 ;) :D

Current hobbies....work. Alongside/in tandem with my main business....the printing of clothing and promotional products, I run the biggest amateur boxing website in the world :ymapplause: and am in the process of setting up a small personal training gym to teach folk the noble art of punching the living daylights out of each other on the pretence of getting fit. Gym Motto= 'Come and have a go if you think your Lard enough' :-B

Big fan of very late nights, beer and educational TV like Snog-Marry-Avoid, Beauty and the Geek and Celebrity Juice :coolsteer)
