And you have the World Cup to watch. 4 weeks is much shorter than the 3 months you were expecting, that will soon pass just concentrate on getting better.

Funnily enough I had forgotten just how good those two were. Thanks Althulas.
I hope they didn’t cause you to much discomfort. It’s my go to if I need a distraction just pure class slapstick with not a expletive in sight. I hope your feeling more chipper tomorrow. Feel free to pm if you want any advice but my field is more critical care based.

Although I can drive in 4 weeks I still have to sit back and let Ann Marie spoil me rotton for the three months, but I’m sure I will cope with it.

Take it easy now! Time flys anyway, so the result is important. Your positive attitude will help for the quick recovery.
Make plans and talk with us!:)
Wish you all the best!

Although the painkillers are helping a lot, at the moment I am going through the ‘everything hurts everytime I move’ phase. This means I am trying to sleep in a pile of pillows on the sofa instead of my nice cosy bed. The upshot of that is that I cannot sleep properly so am spending the early hours browsing this site!
The amount of info on here is simply incredible!
So far, just some of the things I have learned include......
Z3 is better than Z4.
Z4 is better than Z3.
The best zed colour is blue.
The best zed colour is anything but blue.
Wider tyres make tramlining worse.
Wider tyres have no effect on tramlining.
Do not try to fit a new zip in window yourself.
Zip in replacement windows are quite easy to fit.
I have also noted that....
The most powerful group of people on here are the M Police. (For the purposes of this I did not include members’ spouses or partners!)
You all covet your neighbours wheels.
You all drive paying more attention to spotting other zeds rather than paying attention to the road.
Members always have the part you are looking for, but never in your colour!
All of you are useless at maths when trying to work out how much you have lavished on your beloved zed.
So, thanks all for keeping me entertained. It really helps pass the long hours.

I believe that you have given the forum a very fair appraisal with this post.
Glad you have found the time to read a lot of the posts on here but sorry you only had time because of your circumstances. You must be a fountain of knowledge on things Zed. Hurry up and get well, then you will only have to read when you want to.

@Dalek regarding your observations about this forum , which I agree entirely, I'll just add that not in too many forums/ clubs/ political org/etc, people can be so different and still get together so well! At least for me it's really unique... Surfing on the forum is always a pleasure and even on not so good situations, brings out the good part of us.

You might also find interesting the threads on the different grades of fuel, which oil to use in the gearbox/diff, which are the best wheels and the advantages of a new gear knob. Actually we haven't had a good knob thread for some time
Keep smiling
