I know exactly what you mean. Before all this I had a double bypass heart operation only 4 years ago!

That’s good news.
A quick update....
My operation to remove the part of my lung with the tumor went well and I am now recuperating.
Last Thursday I went back to the hospital and was told that they are sure they got it all and that I can consider myself cancer free!
I will have to be scanned every now and then to keep a check on things, but I can live with that!
So.....
A really big thank you to the members on here who messaged me with support when I was feeling really low. You honestly made a big difference.
To the members who are still fighting, I am proof it can be beaten! Stay strong and remember I am still fighting for you!! I know that one member in particular is having a hard time right now. Stay with it, the treatment will hopefully be done soon and we will meet for that survivors meal we promised ourselves!
The other good news is that my levels of drug intake is now low enough for me to get back behind the wheel!! So I will get to enjoy some of the amazing top down weather after all.

Sometimes to think positive is equal to what doctors make with their surgery.
Last year my brother was prostrate cancer diagnosed. It was before "Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride", who supports and fights against men's prostrate cancer and suicidal tendencies. And than I decided to give and to participate and soon after surgery he was diagnosed cancer free! I like to believe that my thoughts and participation did brought a small extra help to him.
Each battle that someone wins, is a victory for all of us!
Wish you to take back your normal life soon as possible, but take it easy!

Thanks Philip. I did enjoy the H4H day but I paid for it the next day!! . Each day is a bit better so hopefully not long now before I am back to my old self!
