Fingers crossed all is well then, This is all new underneath every part is new including new paint new tyres :D

Hope all goes well then Lee:thumbsup:

As I understand it
1--the new test does include additional items from the previous test.
2--the Max fee for the test is fixed , and it is unchanged.
3--does the garage actually make money out of this fee of £54.85 [Max]
4--I have just had the X1 done at a Main Dealer, charge £54.85 they said 1 hour for test then time to clean car[which I told them not to do that],and during the test I was enjoying the coffee, biscuits and use of WiFi,
but the normal hourly rate must be well over £100 per hour.
6-- The area used for testing is reserved for that purpose, or can it be used for normal work.
5--Will this rate actually lead some garages to look for addition work in repairs to make up the shortfall, or will more places just
cease doing tests?

Point no.5. Now consider cut price/discount testing. Which is why I have always said every station should be forced to charge the full test fee. I was told they are not allowed to due this as it's restriction of trade.

Agreed ,

As long as it is set at level that is fair to the test station , and I can see the difficulty in this when considering the different operating cost of different establishments.

The price of the test has always been based on the average cost of 1 hours labour in the UK.
