.net back on line

Is it in the members part of the forum? Its not in the moderator section is it?

Thats what i think, its for moderators eyes only

I haven't been posting much lately and been sitting back seeing what is going too happen too the .net site which seems too me not alot.

I disagree with with GTF and feel there should only be one Zed site which should be the home for Zed owners. The problem with the .net site is if you post now will it get seen as you hoped it would as alot of members have migrated onto the org site and will probably visit the .net site less and less as time goes on. Why use a dated site when you have this great site to use.

As others have mentioned my bone of contention with the .net site now is Tim Cullis. I'm grateful for his work in the past and setting up the site in the first place but as far as I can see he still hasn't given those people who paid sponsorship a fair answer as to what he has done with the sponsorship monies, unless I have missed any posts etc. He then had the bare faced cheek of asking for further sponsorship. All the guy had too do was to say the money collected last year was spend on? I would been happy then and gladly paid futher monies if I knew it was going to be put towards the good cause of the site. As far as I'm concerned as no explanation was forthcoming then I can only assume the sponsorship money was spend on other personal ventures not associated with zroadster.net which in my book is bad form.

I think its time too give up the ghost of Zedroadster.net as this site is clearly the way to move on :ymparty:

I wished I could move all my posts over from .net to this site :ympray:

I would suggest that it is a form of deception. Or theft in plain speak.

I don't like to suggest as such Malcolm but what is one to think ~x(

I did not pay any monies, so can not complain on that point, I mean what would they do with Euros? s:lol

On a serious note, I do give to charities over here that I think are worth it, and in my book, .net is not a charity.

So why has he changed his name ???????????????
bill

He was initially Zmurf as he owned a Laguna Seca Z3M

When he got the Z4 he changed his forum name to Zmeagol

The forum was hacked and that account was deleted, so he started to use his real name, with a new account

It looks like he has been able to recover Zmeagol account

Just stumbled on the thread on bimmerforums. I don't know the full story with Pangster and clearly he is still bitter but some of what he is saying cannot be ignored. If Tim was actively posting on other sites whilst .net was down and supposidly 'unreachable' by admin for close to two weeks I cant see this being anything other than neglect.

Unfortunately judging by his very aggressive stance with the copyright of data & advertising of other sites if .net dies I see all the 10+ years of data being deleted and a very bitter end. Tim deserves praise for keeping the site going but when the love is lost for the users sake the right thing to do would be to pass down the site/data to someone ready to give it the attention it deserves

His write up was very interesting
Pangster is not bitter
IMHO he had nothing to gain by posting it
just putting us in the picture
