Think Brexit will be easier than this decision.
Went on a 200 mile trip yesterday in the 4 and it certainly is easier and quicker to drive, also been out for the first time with my better half who says it is comfier and easier to get in and out of not only the 3 but our daily 1 series so theirs another test passed. So as a daily car no contest. My problem is the Z3 is special to me that's something the 4 hasn't achieved yet.

My twopenneth Paul on a similar vein. Shirl never really liked the Z3 with any enthusiasm but she does like the Z4 much more.

Sure i've been here before! Door cards off, leather inserts cleaned and fed and plastics cleaned ready to re fit after Dent Wizard has done his magic, Hopefully.
Will also be fitting sound deadening material whilst doors are stripped to try to improve the awful tinny noise when shutting the door.

A few videos on YouTube on that subject Paul. On my list when I strip the doors to do other things.

Yep will be using building sealing tape as per the Video on you tube. Looks easy, hopefully with good results.

Be interesting to hear you thoughts mate. Getting the inner seal layer parted is a messy job on these. I did one at work a couple of years ago.

We usually end up repairing things like that with gaffer tape.

Wheel arches removed for better access for Dent man so while the rear wheels are off thought i'd do the calipers, fronts will have to come later
P1030594.JPG

Red can be a bit OTT but with the red trim, well that's my excuse.

Front bumper away in the tender loving care of our Sean, so had a first go at the cloudy headlamps. May need another shot at them another day but pleased with result.

Although the car is currently in several pieces, starting to bond with the 4. Looking forward to attacking the paintwork when the bumpers back and the annoying dents attended too.

The headlights look so much nicer mate and they are the face of the car. With Sean's expertise on the bumper and those new grilled it's going to look great.

Well the dent wizards been and gone. In typical German style my dents were a pig to get access, taking the door cards and inner wheel arches didn't help much, but after dragging out numerous weird and wonderfully shaped pieces of metal, Daniel from Dent Wizard managed to manipulate not only the dents i had highlighted, but several other minor dents as well all for the original quote. Yes i can see a couple of the repaired areas but i knew where they were, the rest absolutely faultless It really is a very cost effective way of attending to annoying little dings. Still along way to go with the 4 but coming along nicely. Next job newly painted bumper to fit.

Bumper built up in the dry comfort of the living room (Jacquies very understanding), a lot heavier with all the bits back on but really shows off @Sean d paint job. Enlisting help for fitting back on car with lots of care, cloths and patience.
