You need to see what it is like underneath those panels as they are really only trim panels and esily replaced. As Sean says unless they are sport seats they are not worth much but what other leather trim is there? :welcome:

@Scott Linich You could always pull it apart and rebuild it in to a ZCAR and go racing next year :D:p

You need to remove the outer sill and see how good it is underneath.
If ok a few panels may improve things no end

Hello and welcome to the forum. If the car is mechanically sound and if it's structurally sound once you look under the outer panels I suppose it depends what you want from your car. They are never going to be worth a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, even minters. If you've bought it to enjoy some open top summer driving and can afford to spend a few quid and a little time then you will be rewarded with plenty of smiles per mile.
You don't have to do all the jobs overnight and if it's got an MOT just enjoy it and change the panels one at a time. If the interior is good then you're not starting from the bottom rung.
Hang around the forum and join in on some runs/meets and you'll meet loads of new friends and plenty of people who will be happy to lend a helping hand.

Amen =))

Bloody hell that was good money
I saw those seats. They had been well cared for and made the leather look stunning.

£150-£250 normally for non-Sport seats. If you can find a buyer.

But as others have said there are other bits which are worth more and/or much easier sellers.

Not knocking 1.9s but the average worth is between say £1,250 to £2,000 so you have to be careful about chucking money at them.

The good thing about Z3s is the low capital cost, little if any depreciation and low running costs. Great value for money.:)
The 1.9 M44 is best of all in this regard.:thumbsup:

Hi all, thanks for the kind welcomes and the advice!

I've decided to stick at it and make it into something for us all to enjoy. I'm going to be starting a YouTube Channel going through the process and hopefully have some fun trying something new!

First video is uploaded already as just an intro to the car, of course, better videos in the coming days, weeks and months as we go through everything piece by piece.

Like everyone starting off, I would appreciate any Likes, Shares & Comments And don't forget to Subscribe to see all the latest vids!

Thanks all!
