Cheers Ian :)
I am definitely rusty with the spanners,it's been years since I worked on any car till recently but it's been enjoyable over all, apart from being outside in the freezing cold brrrr .
Photoshop? Does that mean you can transplant the blue ones onto an old photo ?.

Steve
Nah - much easier than that. Just colour them the same as the bodywork. Can't do it on the print I've got though.

If Gaz does knight you "sir grumpy" when you kneel down so he can pass the sword from shoulder to shoulder just make sure he has a steady hand......we wouldn't want that sharp blade to slip now =)).
She won't be let loose in my zed......that's all that matters ;).
Insane....only a bit...more so when there's a full moon :ymdevil:..
When it warms up....we're northerners..
.don't be a wuss =)).

Think I've said before @Bozzy a bit technical for me but I do like the colour blue lol
I'll maybe take a closer look next time we see you can't promise I'll understand but I'll try and say the right things

Ian sorry I think you may of misunderstood what I meant?
What I meant was if you quoted that line about "half a clue" to Your good lady then you may well have to dodge a few clenched fists ;).

Nice work Steve, the rewards are well worth the effort you've put in. That must be the first part of your Zed Shed Apprenticeship NVQ sorted.

Errr no I didn't take any shots of the wheels and callipers now you say I wish I had . Got plenty of them whilst off the car .
Thanks for the positive comment :).
Was thinking of trying to get some decals to put on them, may be just "BMW"..... What's your thoughts Tony?.

Steve
Hi Steve regarding your query regarding stickers this is how the current BMW calipers look

And found these which may look ok as white would show up on the blue quite well.

Great thread Bozzy, enjoyed the read and they look cracking, Its one job thats on my list but I've been putting off, I really want them done for when I fit the wheels, I'm also planning on blue.
Whats the smooth finish that has been mentioned, I assume some sort of filler primer and flatting before painting.
