... Think I'll do mine on the car then, don't tell @t-tony tho cos he'll shout at me for cutting corners! =))
I did mine on the car Dave. You just have to be a bit flexible to get round the back. Unless you just paint the bits you can see through the wheels.

Why thank you kind sir :)
I do feel a sense of achievement and it's a big learning curve, used to do these things when I was a teenager but lack of patience would get the better of me,I work at a steadier pace nowadays.

Had a busy afternoon, evening and night......
Started by prepping the back plates for painting, followed by 3 coats of silver (copied Tony) but don't tell him ;)

WP_20160228_14_09_25_Pro.jpg

Then set about prepping and painting the disc centres and outer edges, again in silver
Pic of the discs masked up ready for the shiny stuff......what a ball ache that process was

Then I fitted a heater to the wall in the shed and concocted a make shift bench.

And then finally got round to some painting

Four coats on each disc.....i sure hope they'll look ok on the car.
All this and i haven't even took the pads out the calipers yet.....not bad for saying I only wanted a flash of paint on them at the outset .

Looking good mate did you spray the discs?, I cheated and used brushing paint, saves on the masking. Neccessity is the mother of invention, I used a similar rig to spray those front lip splitters last year, works a treat and you still have your ladders. keep it up mate!

Hi Tony
I used brush on paint mate, thought it would be a better option as it's so cold and spray paint usually works better in warmer temperatures.
Thanks for the encouragement :).

Well mate, the bad news is, if you're fitting spacers you will likely find, as I did, that the diameter of the spacers is not the same as the disc hubs, so you will have to paint a small portion of the hub face too. I discovered that late on Friday afternoon.:( See below. Bugger !
