next mod for this weekend is a usb for my cam and sat nav made from one of these, it will be mounted on top of the dash so i keep the wires out of the way, i did consider having usb in one of the switch blanks but you still have wires then, though i may still add one there as a phone charger simply because i have a load of black plastic plugs that are the exact correct size to fit in one of the blanks.

im trying to keep the wires under the windscreen where the sat nav wire is now, if i use a small square of valcro then i dont have to deface my dash. i do have a light in my glove box though. unless i can get the wires into the glove box but then i wouldnt need the usb sockets that has cost me £1.99=))

some of them are low current and are only really any good for charging phones, find one that is 2.1A, the one i brought has a 2.1A for the satnav and a 1A for the cam, when i was running my sat nav off the cam feed it couldnt keep the battery charged on the sat nav.

there should be a small sticker on them that will state the output, my satnavs charger had an outpit of 1.4A where as the cam was .9A

Just hardwire them in behind the dash and leave the tail for plugging the item into.:)
