I have got mine fitted without drilling any holes ie: with my boot fitted over the plastic base (no foam section) and clipped back into position, the using M2 12mm countersunk screws (as I countersunk screw holes) screwed the screws in easing the plastic base inwards so that the screws bite. Could not get one in at the hand brake end as my boot has a seam there and I just could not get it to go in. Then just fitted the top. Job done.
I will send a pic. tomorrow of it on the walnut trim as the light in in my garage is not up to giving enough light at this time in the afternoon.
