I quoted that because I read it so often on here. I have got a 3.0 .
Tony.
ps. There must be some truth in it.

Yeah but it's a Z4 so doesn't really countShow off with a 3.0
Agreed Paul. Never had a problem keeping up in my 2.2, even on some of Jim's (@TaffZee) Welsh Cruises.OK well I have a 2.2 and a 3.0 both Z3's as does @Mint I think Dave will agree the 2.2 is a very capable little zed and goes very well. The 3.0 just has that extra power when you need it. They are both amazing little Zeds.
I've had issues trying to keep up with you in your 2.2 you bloody maniacAgreed Paul. Never had a problem keeping up in my 2.2, even on some of Jim's (@TaffZee) Welsh Cruises.![]()
That's one cheap car!
But you always know it could be better. Not sure I agree with that mate. I've had a 2.8 an M and the Z4 and I still would say the Z3 2.2 is great value, sounds great, (better than the bigger 6 pots), hI as enough grunt (I know I chase them) and are usually better spec'd than 2.8s and 3.0s.. But to be fair I haven't owned one. Just my opinion.
Any luck with contact Stacy.I have messaged Ruth on Facebook
Not yet maybe she is on holidayAny luck with contact Stacy.
Well I guess you could be rigjt but it's a bit like say don't buy a 2.8 or 3.0 buy an M instead?? It depends on budget and what you want from the car. Bumbling around at 50 mph with the roof down and having a whale of a time can be done in any zed. My point was I guess the 2.2 is a good all rounder. But agree the 2.8s are rather nice. But you always know it could be better.
Like dating the second hottest girl you could
Plus with all z3s being cheap there is absolutely no reason to buy anything under a 2.8
I think we were dumped at the first hurdle Tracy. Not been on since her first post. You have pm if your still around.![]()
