Felt a bit more in back was warranted, got 25mm, it's perfect!

Sitting a bit high as it has not been moved since jacking it up.

First oil change, magnetic drain plug did a good job, surprisingly clean considering it's a new motor.

I know it is a waste but sending a sample to Blackstone.

Motor is "done" all is well & it is amazing!

First real wash in months.

Logs show weird MAF fluctuation so I replaced the intake hoses with smoother/less twists.

Just drove 40 minutes each way to drop the M vent panels at the body shop, he said he needs the car to paint them, I said I thought you could figure the color, that's why I came in the car. He looked me dead in the eye, said do you know what color this is? I said Atlanta Blau metallic #306? He said NO! It is NIGHTMARE BLUE. I need the car.

I left them so he can start the preparation & will drop it off in a week or 2 when it is absolutely too hot to drive.

That is actually a really good thing; my body shop had 5 goes at painting a door that had delaminated to get a perfect match. 27 year old paint isn't the same as came from the factory!

Finally got a new file from Active, car feels good, waiting to get a response on the log to be certain it is running happily.

The Innovate MAP sensor died, reads 43.8 pounds at all times.

Everything the PO touched was a mess at best, he replaced the fuel pump.

Got a DW 300 for the BMW.

How can you have two different registration plates on the car? I do like the look of the German one on the front.

In Florida the Official plate is on the rear, while on the front you can have Mickey Mouse if you want. I guess it's the same in Cali ?
Which is why they don't allow rear end in parking here.

I'm in Arizona, only have a rear plate.

California demands a front plate, I got tickets for no front plate when I lived there. (did not want holes in my bumper)

Moved out of Ca in 2002, back in 2004 & out for good in 2006.

Apparently, we banged the valve cover on the firewall, it is leaking.

So I got a new one with gaskets.

Got the new MAP sensor in.

It is much louder in the car. lol
