Let the Z3 Baking Commence - tried and failed

Too busy for cake? Damn, that's busy. Just off out to the kitchen in a minute, feel the urge to knock-up some pastry and fill it with a subtle combination of eggs, sugar and lemons. Should come out like

So you've not encountered the 4 chocolate tart, then? Starts with chocolate pastry, then a smear of marmalade, followed by a layer of white chocolate, followed by a later of milk chocolate, finished off with a layer of plain chocolate with a splash of Grand Marnier just to stop it getting boring. Looks great when it's sliced, but doesn't last very long. I'm too good to myself.:)
 
And no, I've never tried truffles. Might be something to delve around the interweb about. Mostly stick to variations on the stuff I was taught at Rick Steins' place. Best way to learn is from experts, get the basics right and then experiment.
