JINGLES White Z4 progress thread (PIC HEAVY)

had slight wind noise at high speeds so tilted drivers side window glass in a little bit, using these adjusters:

under door cover caps:

covers removed and bolt adjusted:

finally managed to get hold of a Z4M undertray!!

stuff ready to go:

jacked up and on axle stands:

fitted:

fitted from underneath:

due to not having a undertray for a while a lot of road grime has flicked up into the engine bay, quick clean up and spruce up. once new rocker cover is replaced will give engine bay a proper going over:

finally got around to fitting the 1st aid boxes, sorry for poor iphone front facing camera photos:

Neat touch

Great job @JINGLE I'd need those axle stands about a foot higher to accommodate this fat bloke. You must be built like a snake to get under there.

haha yea im pretty slim and it was tight, i get scared using my small trolly jack any higher tho as it gets a little wobbly (well it doesn't, but in my head it does haha)

as my air scoop and bracket are both broken i had to replace:

broken scoop and bracket on car:

new scoop:

1st coat red:

finished in red:

new scoop and new bracket ready to go on car:

been a bit slack on here lately, been busy !

heres some catch up:

abs/dsc warning lights came on so I replaced all 4 abs sensors, after doing all this the problem was still there, turns out it was a faulty wire so i soldered it and all works fine again :D

old next to new:

and also swapped some corroded bolts as 1 rounded off and took an hour to get out

managed to borrow a friends ramp and replaced both heat shields around exhaust, as both were really damaged and back box section had half missing, forgot to get a photo but heres the back box section old and new:

as much as i love my custom red leather roll hoops i cant install the wind deflector brackets so needed a solution.... custom sprayed alpine white roll hoops with wind deflector
old red leather:

1 white and 1 red:

and from the rear:

new white roll hoops and wind deflector installed:

finally got around to fitting the Rpi scoop, unlike most I had to replace the whole bracket as mine was damaged so it was a bigger job than expected!

before:

front end off:

broken scoop:

Everything off to access the bracket:

new bracket and scoop fitted:

new scoop behind grill:

and heres what was removed:

Lots of work to get to the what looks like a very vulnerable scoop, was the scoop damaged by a light front end bump. Great pics of your worthwhile work:thumbsup:, like it.:)

Finally got the wheels fitted (special thanks to machine monkey for letting me have some old tyres to check the wheels would fit before I spent big money on new)

Gave the car a good clean and even polished my tips!!! I'm crap with photos and angles etc so I just went snap happy and here's a select few! Cars not finished yet but I'm very, VERY happy with it!
