EDIT - 02/09/15

added some fresh rubber boots to top and bottom of rear springs

EDIT - 07/09/15

after boring people on here for a few weeks about how im waiting to get my Aeros and rear //M bumper sprayed and on the time has finally arrived!! also after some annoying PDC loom troubles i managed to get a 2nd hand loom and to my amazement, it took me 5mins to unplug old loom(really thought it was going to be a mission) and plug in new bumper/PDCs and they only went and worked 1st time!!!!! so chuffed, anyway hers some pictures in case you want to see :D

sorry for poor quality as light was fading and i was in a rush to take it for a quick test drive and take a few pics

EDIT 21/09/15:
only something small, but my old ashtray lid had broke so it sprung up really quick and not slow and steady like it was meant to, so i got a 2nd hand ashtray compartment off the forum and swapped over:

EDIT 26/09/15:
next up was the dash cam, after i ordered the wrong converter (i 1st got 12v > 5v MINI USB) i then ordered a 12v > 5V MICRO USB converter i managed to wire in and install my brand new MINI 0806 dashcam seen below:

EDIT 27/09/15
having replaced all 4 wheel arch liners, the drivers side front was damaged when installed (but was MUCH better condition that the original so fitted it anyway for the time being) managed to source a undamaged replacement so now all 4 corners are perfect:

EDIT 05/10/15
next up was a mod i have been looking forward to for a while, was a bit apprehensive as there has been a bit of bother regarding Quad conversions lately so after plenty of research and a recommendation from forum member ESP i bit the bullet and booked my car in at EMP Performance based in St Albans http://www.empperformance.com/

very friendly and nice people all round and the workmanship is amazing (i followed there fitters on instagram to get an idea for there work.. https://instagram.com/mad_dp/ )

not got many pictures yet but heres 1 i took and 1 from there instagram account where u can see everything..

better quality picture:

Really great thread, nice to see Z4s getting some attention on Z.org. Looks like a great car too, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Great Post, Welcome to the Forum, car looking good, was the fitting of the Gaptech RCH easy? I want to add that mod to mine. need to get at the wiring at some time to fix a problem with seat heating and problem with the Multi Player so been hanging of fitting the Gaptech until I have time to address the faults at the same time.

Hi TaffZee, its pretty easy yea, hardest part is cutting that stupid felt like sticky tape from around the wire loom to show you the coloured wires seen in my pic. some people strip back the wires and solder, i was happy to use the provided scotch blocks (some people have reported they come loose over time, but mines been fine, just give them a wiggle and good squeeze to make sure its a solid connection through the wire coatings)

Tip: make sure to try the roof operation before you push all the wires and the ashtray console back in, the scotch blocks can be temperamental but once a connection is made it should be fine, removing and the checking wires is a little fiddly and time consuming when you can just check it quickly before putting it all back :)

both front lower plastic corners were damaged, finally managed to get some replacements at a sensible price. fitted new corners and also refitted all the brake duct brackets etc to stiffen everything up, and modified the lower corners so they dont foul the bottom rear of the bumper fangs and every thing sits perfect now and nothing fouls anything.

old corners off, and new corners ready to go on:

I'm really enjoying your thread as I've recently bought a Z4 3.0 myself. Just to give you a heads up there will a a meet at my local pub again next year as everyone who came expressed a wish to repeat it. Have a look back in the threads of Events. Not too far fron Norwich on a nice Septemer Sunday! I have acquired some bits and bobs for my car which will be fitted as soon as I'm able an no doubt will post some/all on here. Keep up the good work mate,

Tony.

The wheels in the Photoshop are 19" AVA Memphis wheels (also available in 18"), but they are VERY similar to Ispiri ISR6 19" (also available in 20".... don't think they are available in 18" tho)

please note that its only a Photoshop so they will look different once actually fitted (i think ive accidentally made the rear wheel bigger in my poor Photoshop haha) and not sure on offsets or staggered yet but both wheels mentioned above have been fitted to Z4s before so they definitely fit :D

Got to do this with mine as well, had a sort of rubbing noise when I went over a speed bump, on investigation I found that the engine plastic under tray had been damaged and was loose and was not located into the bumper at all, done a temp repair using zip ties and stitched it back together, but as soon as I find a second hand under tray will be getting it done.

On the E85 the under tray is part of the front bumper, and locates with push fit type pins without it the bumper lip is unsupported and on mine was loose Is this different on yours?
