Someone has to ask, why Rhubarb?:)
It was a debate on bmbabe's ///M name as its Dakar and they live in the same garage. The name was to go with custard but sunny was the name chosen in the end:thumbsup:

Well I finally managed to drop the subframe after being stuck by a single Allen head for a while:

State of the bushes:

A large order has been placed for some new goodies for the car!

A bit crusty Martin but for the age of the car it's in remarkable condition.

Those beam bushes look fresh to me, but the pic is a little blurry! A lesson to everyone to look behind the sill covers and see what's lurking, good job you are in there now to sort them before they go really bad...

They might look fresh but they're not in a good way, hoping the poly bushes will make a big difference.

The diff Bush is essentially able to be pushed out by hand (leaving the metal ring!)

I've separated the diff and trailing arms from the subframe now. I was also hoping to remove the front calipers and discs but whoever put the caliper carriers on last time definitely didn't want them to come off!!

It's something that's been replaced which would ordinarily be attached inside the wing. I'm assuming it's an ambient temperature sensor
