Assembled the Diff, trailing arms and subframe:

More parts turned up:

Balancing on a trolley jack:

Finally in place:

I also put the sills back on, and the interior sills:

Tomorrow I'll be fitting these:

I'm having a bit of a nightmare with the brakes. I'm struggling to get the handbrake cables out, and the SS lines may not be delivered until after the weekend. I had ordered SS braiding but have had to go with a set which have black lines (still SS underneath a black cover).

Everything is pretty much done now apart from brakes

Looking great Martin a lot of work but definitely worth it
I can't wait to get the brakes hooked up and give it a run. Given the state of the bushes I'm expecting a huge difference!

I'd do the front but this has taken enough patience. I need to save some up for next year...

I brought the tooling to replace the ball joints as more often than not its just the outer lower joint that is shot and you can replace the joint remarkably easy to do and can be done on the car !

Blimey Martin. Just caught up on this. You've been a busy boy and stressing yourself out by the looks of things.
Fair play to you for digging so deep and having a go. Your hard work is paying off. Keep at it, soon be done mate.

You mean the diameter of the bar? Not sure I'll let you know tomorrow. Apparently they are twice as stiff as OEM on their softest setting

If you're fitting new cables Martin the easiest option is to cut off the outer ring end and pull the inner cable back then just use a drift just the size of the alloy end on the new cable to punch it out with a few choice hammer blows. If it won't move drill the bugger out mate.

Tony.
