Having a nice drive out later tonight up to Morpeth to play Foot Golf, so gona get a nice run out in the car.

This morning I've been doing a bit of rattle can spraying. Apprehensively.

Its drying before I get the rear bumper back on the car and get a pic. Here is the before, it's been driving me mad since I got the car over 4 years ago. Only wanted to paint that corner and see how well it blends.
Got a good 2k clear to give it a good shine.

Got a perfect finish. Great blending too....

Until the Effing dog knocked it off a table outside and it took a chunk out of the corner.

Honestly.
Does anyone else spend time and money trying to do things yourself only for someone/something to come along and ruin it?

So frustrating.

Had to scrape as much soft paint off as I could then let it dry and sand and do a quick paint job and clear with what I had left and then fit it again. So it's probably worse than it was before.

On the other hand I've fitted a rear ACS splitter and the centre part of my 3 piece spoiler.

Today I took @Jjim up on an offer to help me refurb my drivers seat and show me what do do. So had a early start in monsoon weather to drive south.

Went right down to Solihull first to collect some koni sport shocks/springs.

This was the seat before.

Hole in the centre black pad. Previous poor repair on upper bolster and collapsed foam/almost worn through leather on the lower bolster.

Not going to lie, Jim did everything
But it looks great anyway. I might even try the other sest myself now.
I didn't actually get a picture finished in the car as it never stopped raining but ill upload one tomorrow.

The days of the low life z3 are gone.
Fitted the koni yellow sport shocks and springs. I dont think I like the height haha. Too high!

Before:

After:

My shocks were knackered and it was on cheap apex springs so it was really low before. Too low.
Now its probably 50mm higher on the rear and maybe 35mm on the front.

Nah the rears if anything are higher because I had the jack in the boot. I wonder if they are just the standard koni sorings. Might get to upgrade them.
