Are you going to fit this yourself? If not you will potentially pay the same to have a second-hand one fitted as it would cost for an all new quality roof (fitted) from someone like Jack Smith in Swansea at around £300.

So after getting rained on again tonight I think it's time I find a replacement hood.

Looking for manual, red hood for 1997 1.9, I'd like to hold out and find a red one but if not I'm happy to get a black one if anyone has one!

Have you found one ?
I am having a new one fitted next Friday and you can have the old black one FOC its water tight,with replacement window but has verticel scratches and material round window needs tiding but its serviceable. Geoff

I don't really like getting rained on with the hood up =))
Well it's going to keep happening Al until you change it mate, your roof is well passed its sell buy date =))

Lift the seat up full height find the split between the front and rear carpet section get your hand in and see what it's like .
My wife's zed had a half a dozen leaks when we bought it ( mainly from the badly unstitched rear window) anyway carpets felt dry on top .
When I ripped out the seats and carpets found foam underlay water logged ( took a month to dry out ) left a couple of litres of water in the floorpan after lifted carpets out .

Well I'll have the seats out to do the bushes in the rails so I'll check that then. Thanks for the tip:thumbsup:
