New record achieved today on the treadmill, going to try the cross trainer with Jue as she's no longer able to run, she's not keen so said I'd give it a go for moral support.

Has Jue tried the cross-trainer yet Dave ?
 
No,she was going to try it yesterday but her ankle is that painful she's a bit put of it at the minute. She is sticking to the rowing a bit longer till she has more confidence in her ankle.

She's not fit to do anything yet mate. Just starting to walk a bit easier but a long way from right yet.
 
How is the weight loss going. I seem to have hit a Plateau and have actually put around 2lb on. Yet i am still eating the same. I know this can happen as your body adjusts to getting used to the same thing. So today i have mixed things up

Weighted in yesterday at 14-12. Started off 4 weeks ago at 15-10 so really happy so far mate
 
Just had a good hour in the gym. @billz, Jue has started back up today after her injury and took to the cross trainer like a duck to water. She really got on well with it and didn't hurt her ankle at all. No stats yet but a good start.

Good news regarding Jue.
It is a very easy machine to use and if she doe around 40 mins at medium to hard she will burn around 400 calories.
I have now started doing 10 minutes xtrainer 5 minutes high intensity and repeat it 3 more times, so i am still doing the 10k on the cross trainer and 20 minutes high intensity but mainly abs and arms as the xtrainer is doing my legs.
When i thought i had hit a plateau with my weight it has turned out it was the fat in my thighs turning to muscle. Not seen any of them for years =))

New distance record for both me and Jue this afternoon. We ran in tandem so times we're the same for us both. Well chuffed. Now in practice for the Manchester 10km next year with my brother.
